Five Months Old

Saylor turned five months old today.  She still eats about 5 times a day but is drinking bigger bottles.  She is still sleeping from about 10:00-6:30 except for last week when she decided to scream anytime she realized she was in her crib.  For one week she spent most of the night sleeping with mom or dad on the couch so they could get some sleep.  She was very content sleeping with one of us but screamed in her crib.  After trying a few things, we decided to turn on her night light and closet light and she's been sleeping through the night ever since.  This makes mom and dad much happier and much more rested!  When on a routine she usually takes two naps and sometimes a little snooze in the evening.  Her two bottom teeth have come in.  She is the happiest in the morning after she's been fed and changed and the crabbiest at night between 7:00 and bath time.  She's rolled over ONCE and that was so two weeks ago.  She is so over giving any effort to rolling over again and proving to dad she can do it.  Some of her favorite things right now are to stand, watch Milo, ride in her coaster, play with her sit and stand sing-a-long toy, watch Aunt Whitney's basketball games and grab and suck on anything she can get her hands on including toys, hair, bottles and your nose.  If you think she's giving you a kiss, you're wrong... she's going in with her mouth wide open for a full drooly attack on your face.  We love to see her little button-nose curl up and her big cheeks when she smiles.
