Eleven Months

Saylor is eleven months old and turning into quite the curious little girl.  Now that she has completely mastered walking she pretty much tries to climb anything and everything.  She also wants to be outside and run around.  She loves to "talk" on the "phone," which could be her play cell phone, one of our cell phones, a remote, an alarm clock, or a random toy with a whole lot of babbling.  She likes to play hide-and-go-seek (as best you can with an eleven-month-old), tease Milo, play with rocks, and swim.  She's spent most of the month going for walks, swimming and just being curious (spreading toilet paper around the house, throwing everything in the toilet, pulling everything out of the dishwasher, picking up kitties by their tales,  taking name tags off mom's classroom desks...)  She eats pretty much everything we eat for breakfast, dinner and supper except for really hard, big chunks or spicy foods.  She sometimes has a small snack late in the afternoon if her nap doesn't interfere.  She usually takes two long naps in the late morning and late afternoon.  AND... she is sleeping through the night again!  Whoo HOO!  She still has eight teeth that worked well enough to eat whole corn on the cobs.  Even though pictures don't show it, her hair really is starting to fill in and looking somewhat blonde.  She just loves all the little boys in her life (three nephews and two boys from daycare that she got to see a couple times this summer.)  It's fun to see her waddle around and try to keep up with them now.  It's been the best summer spending every day with her.  The last few days she's been a busy girl helping mom and dad in their classrooms.  We are so sad we have to go back to work.  Next month will bring many changes, new routines, and a big birthday!
