Saylor's been busy this month. We've been to a lot of basketball games (five in-a-row last week alone), church activities, and family and friend gatherings. She loves music, going to the library, reading books, going down her slide in every way possible, being chased, playing hide-and-go-seek (she can be the hider now) and feeding Milo. At home she doesn't really play with toys but that's probably because we don't spend a lot of time at home, and she still has no interest in TV. This month her biggest development is her vocabulary and talking. We no longer have to always say a word and have her repeat it. Now she can point to something herself and tell you what it is. It's nice that she can tell us what she wants sometimes but it still gets a little tricky because her no means no, but it also means yes... so it's really still a guessing game. Her favorite sayings are "Milo," "where (insert name)?" when someone leaves the room, "bottle," "daddy," "mom," "boo," "potty," "hot," "brrrrr," "baby," and her friendly wave and "hi" to anyone she sees. She went on the potty at the beginning of the month, took a week off, and now has gone on the potty every night before her bath for the past two weeks. She went through a phase of not sleeping through the night again this month. She would wake up and scream. After 45 minutes of pure screaming, which ultimately resulted in her throwing up all over herself, and with two parents who work full-time jobs with busy night schedules... taking her to bed with us where she fell right asleep was the only answer for the time being. Now she has slept through the night in her crib every night this week so we're hoping that was just a phase that has passed. She's stayed healthy this month even with influenza going through mom and dad's school. And she added a new baby to daycare but seems to be adjusting okay. Her pictures this month showoff her new cheesy smile.
