6 Months

Collyns is a 1/2 a year old.  She's a smiley, one-dimpled, sweetheart.  She just cut her first tooth on the bottom.  She likes to be in her exersaucer or walker, suck on everything, and play with toys that make noise or music.  She loves to be talked to, play peek-a-boo, or just be smiled at.  She's eating a mix of rice and baby food at night but she's not sleeping great.  She usually goes to bed around 9:30 and wakes up once or twice during the night.  The second time is now the time we will have to get up for school so hopefully we can eliminate that other wake-up (before tomorrow morning!)  She has sleepy days and not sleepy days.  She usually takes a small morning nap, a long afternoon nap and a short early evening nap.  She can suck on her toes, grab and pull hair, and roll-over both ways.  She's spent most of her six months at home with mom besides a few weeks at the end of last school year, so tomorrow will be a big adjustment and a little sad for everyone. Her 6 month stats are 26 inches tall (58 percentile) head circumfrance 16 3/4 inches (46 percentile) and 16 lbs. 3 oz. (46 percentile) for weight.
