3 Years

 Saylor is three years old and keeping life in our house full of fun.  She is obsessed with wearing dresses because she thinks it makes her look pretty.  She wakes up requesting to wear one every day and if she doesn't get to, she will have one on the minute we get home from school.  She loves to pretend and use her imagination.  She especially likes to pretend she is Elsa.  Now that she has an Elsa dress, shoes, wand, crown and gloves (thanks to her birthday party) she has been dressed like Elsa every day after school until she goes to bed.  You might see her riding bike, going for walks, playing outside all dressed up as Elsa.  She also has a large vocabulary for her age and facial expressions that keep us entertained.  She loves to play with the neighbor girl, Sarah.  They find each other after school every day and play babies (Saylor's usually the baby and Sarah is the mommy), ride bike, have picnics, pretend to plant gardens, or tell funny jokes that only 3 and 4 year olds would think are funny.  She also loves to play with her cousins and looks forward to every time she gets to play with them.  She started Sunday School and gymnastics this week.  She does not like to be told, "no."  Shocker, I know, but she will usually try to bargain with you.  "How about 5 more minutes?  Okay, mommy?  Okay?" or if that doesn't work she'll give the "Daaaa dayyyy!" if she's mad at dad or "Mom-maay!" if she's mad at mom.  She did alright at her 3 year-old-check-up.  She weighed 33 lbs and was 38 inches tall (71st percentile.)  Saylor is just full of spunk and we love her like crazy.
