3 Years 4 Months

Saylor is another month old.  She spent a lot of this month sick.  She's had the flu over Christmas and now she's battling a nasty cold, so along with the cold temps, we've been stuck at home a lot.  She's loved every minute she's gotten to play outside in the snow especially sledding at the park or scooping the driveway with Daddy.  She seems to have different personalities depending on the time of day.  One minute she is so hyper, singing, dancing and talking away to anyone who will listen and the next minute she could be sitting on Mom's lap acting sad and shy.  We definitely prefer the outgoing side of Saylor.  For example, when visiting great grandma and grandpa she stood on a can and was the director and made us all sing different songs at the same time.  Great Grandma had to sing Away in the Manger, Mommy sang Happy Birthday Jesus, Daddy sang Praise Ye the Lord, and Great Grandpa sang BAAAH (he was a sheep.)  This was pretty entertaining as she was kind of a bossy director.   This month she's said quite a few funny things.  She's told us, "here's the deal" explaining a situation or "A little help here?" or while playing by herself we'll overhear her say, "right, right, right, right right" or "okay, ok, k, k, k" while setting something up.  Sometimes when we tell her she has to do something that she doesn't want then she'll say something like, "well then I'm just going to get Mommy" or "well then I'm just going to runaway."  She loves to watch the big iPad (Disney Junior,) play with her cousins or Paisley at daycare, sled with daddy, and go to Sunday School.
