1 Year 2 Months

Collyns had a big milestone this month and started walking.  She seems to be happier being more mobile even between all her mishaps and falls.  She loves pillows, stuffed animals and being outside especially going for walks or digging in and eating dirt.  She also loves food especially bread and blueberries.  She's starting to experiment eating with a fork and spoon.  Unfortunately, she's still not a big fan of a sippy cup.  She goes down for a nap and at night with a bottle of water and usually sleeps for 10-11 hours during the night and one long nap in the afternoon or a short morning nap and a longer after noon nap most days.  She says, "mamamamamama" but that's about it.  She is more vocal and makes it be known what she wants despite not saying any words.  She also learned to defend herself by biting her sister. Yikes -- we are working on that!  We get told several times a week that she looks just like her daddy.  She can wave, clap, put her hands in the air for "so big" and can show you her belly button if you are lucky!
