Saylor had a big month going through many changes. She helped pack up our old house, said good-bye to a very close neighbor friend, moved to the next town, met a few new neighbors and spent a week in Florida with the Vander Matens. She did cry every night before we moved. She did not want to leave her neighbor friend, Sarah, which was very understandable. They played with each other all day every day during the summer. She misses her a lot and talks about her at least once every day. She is doing okay at the new house but we haven't been here very long. The first few days she complained of her stomach hurting and was homesick. She did meet a few neighbor girls to play with, but we (and they) left on vacation 6 days after we moved in so she didn't get to play with them very much yet. We did see one of them (Hannah) at the airport and watched their plane take off for Canada. Unfortunately, she will be gone for a month. She is starting to adjust to the new house and is doing alright sleeping in her new room downstairs. She likes having her own bathroom and picked out pink towels for it. She also loves her new swing set and the trapeze bar we took along from the old house. She loves having her trampoline in the garage and jumps on it every day. Obviously, she also loved Florida. She loved doing "kick outs" to anyone that she could swim to. She said her favorite part was playing with Sage and Sori and swimming in the pool and by the ocean. Lately, she's been talking in a funny accent that sounds a bit British. You'll hear her say, "Hi-lo!" (which means hello) to everyone. She asks if everything is healthy or if something is considered exercise. She loves to sing, make up songs and perform them. Her favorite food is spaghetti and cheese bread and she still takes a late afternoon nap.
