1 Year 9 Months

 This little girl is really showing her personality.  She is smiley, stubborn and silly.  She is very shy at first when around other people and likes to snuggle with mom and dad, but when she warms up, she loves to be teased, laugh and snuggle with others.  She does not like sharing, her sister in her space and sleeping in her own bed.  The most common word we hear is a screeching, "MINE" and a loud screech followed by some serious hitting which 99.9% of the time means Saylor is in her "space."  This makes church very tricky.  A mere look from Saylor can result in a high pitched scream.  They do love each other, though.  Saylor is usually in her space smothering her in kisses and they love to dance, chase each other and play hide and seek.  For Christmas, though, we are asking for TWO of most toys.  Collyns still likes to carry around a sippy and her tee-tee (blankie.)  And you won't beat her in stare down!  She says a lot of words but they are all on her own time.  Every once in awhile she'll say a word when we ask but it's pretty rare.  This is her stubbornness coming through.  She loves to have jobs or tasks.  If you ask her to go do something she will do it.  She throws away her own diapers, helps set the table, gets shoes out, finds mom's phone, etc.  She's getting bigger but she's still our little Lovie!
