Happy 1/2 Birthday to our sweet little girl! Saylor has had quite a month. We've been living at my parents while our house gets remodeled. During this time she has officially decided and shown us she can roll over. She can also sit by herself pretty well and has learned the art of eating baby food from a spoon. Sweet potatoes have been a big hit so far. She's still sleeping from about 10:00-6:30 or 7:30 if I don't wake her up for school and she usually takes two naps. When she's happy we still know it by her scrunched up nose and now her shrieks of joy! She likes to play peek-a-boo and has started to entertain herself with her toys. Her favorites are her incrediblock, exersaucer and is becoming more curious about other simple toys that open and close, play music or light up. I think her favorite form of entertainment is watching Milo or all the boys in her life (Dad, Cousin Ryan, Cousin Sage, and the two little boys at daycare.) She still likes to pull your nose or hair and suck on anything she can get her hands on, especially her own feet. There seems to be no movement in the hair growth department so it's a good thing she still keeps her headbands in. Since there is little hair, it's hard to say what hair color she will have. It's looking blonde but her eyebrows are still pretty dark. We're having a hard time describing her eye color, too. They are obviously dark but have hues of blue, green, gray and brown. Hopefully, we are back in our own home with a new kitchen before Saylor is another week older!

Six Months Old

I LOVE this picture of her! What cute and growing girl! She must have the same eye color as Lincoln b/c I still don't know what to call his either.
