Day Off

Mommy had conferences this week so today was a much needed day off from school.  It started nice and early at 6:20 AM.  We did lots of playing and going on the potty (yes!)  We had lots of fun and enjoyed a much needed nap in the afternoon before Dad came home.  At night we went swimming and Saylor loved it through her chattering teeth and shivers.  She liked to be thrown in the air, jump off the side, kick and swim (while being held up in the water) and watch everyone else playing in the pool.  We keep practicing putting her head under the water and she did try to do it herself.  But enough was enough and by the time we got home to eat pizza she had a few bites and then asked to go "nigh night." She went straight to bed about an hour or two before she normally does.  Never, ever, ever has this happened before but no complaints here.  It was a great day!
