We went to watch state basketball for a few days in Des Moines. We were hoping for a small, fun, family get-away for a few days but Saylor was not feeling well which made her extremely crabby, involved some middle of the night phone calls to the hospital, and lots of fever medicine. We didn't get to shop or sleep or visit everyone as much as we were hoping but we managed to get in some shopping, swimming, visits, and a few smiles. She's been fever-free since Saturday morning but we are missing Saylor feeling and acting like herself.
