Collyns is also loving summer. She absolutely loves being outside. She likes to play in her sand and water table, go down slides, and play at the park. She is always looking for a finger to hold on to and follow her wherever she wants to go (usually down the street.) She likes the swimming pool a lot. She loves climbing up the stairs and going down the small water slide and playing in the fountains. She's still a good sleeper. She wakes up around the same time as Saylor between 8:00-8:30 and usually takes an hour long nap around 11:00 or 11:30. Then she takes a longer nap in the afternoon around 3:30-6:00 and goes to bed around 9:00. She also loves to rough house with Daddy and be scared or tickled. She likes all food and is a good eater but isn't great at drinking milk. However, she is loving our summer night ice cream runs! She is starting to at least go and get books and sit in our laps, but we rarely make it through a few pages before she's up picking out a new one. She says mama, dada, uh-oh, hi, bye (wave) and go. It's been pretty slow with the talking but she also had another double ear infection the day before her hearing test. So, we couldn't do the hearing test to see if there is any permanent hearing loss. We have another check-up with the doctor and a visit with the ENT coming up. We're hoping we can get her ears feeling better soon.
