Saylor is 10 months old and has grown up so much this month! The biggest development is that she is walking everywhere. It is so fun to see her monster walk with her hands in the air and wobbling around. She is also finished with the baby food. She loves to feed herself and eats about everything we eat. Her favorite foods are peas, watermelon, blueberries, and grapes but she likes everything we give her. She's started to drink watered down juice a few times a day and only has a bottle of milk before naps and bedtime. She can sign for "more," "so big," clap, wave, and play peek-a-boo using her blanket. She can take the small basketball and make a basket when told to "make a hoop," she knows exactly where to look if you ask her where Milo is, and she can put things inside and out of other objects when you ask her. She has spent most of the month swimming and going to Aunt Whitney's softball games. She's been making progress in sleeping through the night. We had a good streak of four nights during a two week span that she made it through the whole night. She still hates her bath, but afterwards we enjoy reading to her until she falls asleep. One of the best things about her is her giggle. It sounds somewhat evil and she giggles the most when she sees pictures of herself on the computer, plays with her big stuffed monkey, or just at some random toy she discovered. She still has eight teeth and weighs the same as last month (20 lbs.) We are loving every minute of summer spending so much time with her!
